happened/s and muses

well i promise to blog...well so here's the one i owe for last Tuesday..
met up with my good frenz!! Daniel n Isaac! so happy happy...i mean..we were out not jus becos i was out..we were out to "celebrate" D's bday..
we went a lil' walking here and there and we had a great time...not just chatting...i dunno...it was jus fun talking rubbish with each other...looking at things we dun really need..like havaianas slippers...ahha...=x
and wat did we do to end off the nite?
we went to the best place to end the nite to be fat.. Ben & Jerry's!!!

On the other hand...
Had quite an interesting tutorial today for Pol Science...We touched on democracy...and the government....and of cos free speech, free press, free media..you get the idea..so i brought up the pt about singapore being a restricted country without freedom of the mass media...and then my tutor brought up the pt that...it's not necessary the works of the Govt but the people....becos the society itself sets the limits/boundaries... i gave the example of watching R21 and that there's still censorship regardless... my tutor asked this in return:"would people actually create an uproar over the cut scenes?
Instead if it wasn't cut and some people do not like the degree of nudity/violence..would it cause an uproar?"My answer is no to the former and yes to the latter....which is really quite true of our society...and then i brought up the fact of Otto Fong's declaration of sexuality...and at the end of it we concluded that
 -The level of openness of the country might not necessary be bounded or controlled by the government but by far the society itself...if the society has not reached that level of maturity then there's no way certain things would be opened up..and hence less freedom..and by total Freedom it is not necessary the best option for the society cos' then no one would be held accountable for anything at all..

Back to me, I bought my tickets to Bangkok already! Uber Broke already...sad boi here surviving on bread everyday..=( anyway, Im flying off on the 9th Dec nite and back on the 31st Dec Nite...
Immersion Programme will start on the 11th-28th..extending my stay so i will have time to shop and tour in bangkok after immersion!Excited about it...and also a lil apprehensive cos of the huge costs involved(well huge to me lar) but yeah..Christmas in Thailand..a first..almost wanted New Year too..but well...money came into mind.. =x

Im keeping fit lately! haha...running a few nites and of cos volleyball training...my muscles are aching..and my shoe spoilt...no money for new one...
HOW?! argh...RaWr!!
