Is Love at First Sight or Nurtured?
Hmm...been having Philosophy for 6wks le.....wow....decide that i should display a lil Philo Power in my blog..haha...Well..alot of pple always say/mention abt Love at first sight....but there's also pple who say love is something tat is nurtured(pei yang u noe...) So Wat exactly is love? Is love at First Sight or Nurtured?
Love is at First Sight...Of cos...how else do u explain the strange tingly feeling u feel at ur eyes when u saw that special someone?how about that feeling u noe u are destined to love this person til the end of time...?Doesn't it come from that first meeting u had?Don't you find yourself falling for that boy/girl-next-door when u see him/her walk past you at your friendly neighbourhood Econ minimart? Love is at first sight because u noe u want to noe that person more when u first see him/her. The first sight instigates YOU to take the first move to initiate the first chat with him/her.....it starts off everything doesn't it...the First Sight....u get the "can't get my mind off you,can't take my mind off you" syndrome...and ta daa...ur Love begins...before u even noe it...
Love definitely is not at First Sight...How do you explain 2loggerheads who so totally hate each other only to fall in love much later in time?They definitely Do not Love not First Sight...they jus gradually grew to love each other with time...and as time permitted...and space..a fondness for each other grew...Chinese have this saying "ai qing ke yi pei yang de"--Love can be nurtured. So how can love be at first sight when it is actually nurtured? 2 people that hate each other one their first meeting might subsequently deal with each other so much they start to fall for each other.....Happens rite? yea man...Nurturing a Love is the way how a love would last and go thru much more rite....how could a temporal eye contact last thru decades...unlike that of a long term nurture and understanding....and cultivating trust and faith in each other.....the latter seem to gain more foothold...Love doesn't need a spectacular start....instead it should be a process....n u enjoy that process.........its no Fireworks...........u dun need the spectacular blasts...cos it ends as abruptly.....
So which School of thoughts you believe in?Do you think love is at first sight? or u think love is nurtured...........either way...........hopefully...........u end up with the corn u have faith in....(see post below) =)Air Turbulence at 12:56 AM
