h0w muCh cAre Is Caring..?
hmm read from kenny's blog about a poor lady selling tissues and how some pple in our life needs more help and jus a lil action from us can help this minority go past another seemingly hard day of theirs....well...jus to add a lil 2cents from me...Have u been to town?Im sure many have...mayb not lately....but a few months/wks ago ? yea...im sure u have....have u walked from Somerset MRT heading to Heeren? or Taka?and on the way there u have to walk past the traffic lights and past these rows of Telephone booths? been Approached by An Indian lady selling tissues? hmm if u were sympathetic and caring enough on that day u would have bought tissues from her...and like kenny...felt that hey...doing something small like this will help her get her dinner while i might still be sipping starbucks for $6....but think again...is tat so?? Aloysius told me that he saw this Indian Lady at Genting while he was there on holiday....hmmm...think again...so actually all that money which u tot was going to help her get her dinner actually got her onto a trip to Genting....wow...haha...yea...Then again..the NKF incident...donated so hard while crying as hard when u watched the TV charity show with all those real life examples.. and then u realised...hey...all that money went to the idiot who sat First Class and got big bonus like no one needed them.... Or how about say those selling tickets on the streets? as in donation tickets...Most of the times u would say sorry im busy or something rite? but once in a while...ur heart goes soft and u actually buy a $2 ticket thinking hey jus to help those poor children/elderly...and wat would happen if i told u outta the $2 ticket, $0.50 actually goes to the person selling it and who noes how much money the agency who employs the person to sell the tickets draw from the sale proceeds....so how much actually goes into Charity?Well...my point here isnt asking everyone out there to be skeptical with donating and donations...It is such show of kindness and care that hey...we dun call each other animals....it is thru such actions where we help pple...and even if we might not noe them...Wat my point is driving at is...be careful wat u donate for...the cause....and dun be taken in easily....but then again, if ur true intentions are in helping pple....u dun really have to care where the money goes to eventually....cos u donated to help...and u will definitely be repaid with good karma...whereas those we manipulated pple's trust and care and misused the money donated to other causes than to help the needy...well...they will and they can joolly well burn in hell and knock each other down in car accidents....die and perish the ugly way...cos u were ugly...and let Care prevail... =)Air Turbulence at 1:40 AM
