aLas..wAt a Nite...
hey peepz....yea...im still at CHANGI AIRPORT...so "exciting" rite? haha....after the 4hrs of wait..they finally decided to tell us that we cant fly the plane......dumb....yes......u could/should see the commotion at the transit area....hmm finnair station masters and the passengers trying to ask and answer questions...reminds me of the Taiwan parliament...minus the chairs hurling or physical abuses....
How abt a classic Singaporean example..?
This lady goes up to the stand and ask that Finnair change all of us to another plane...cos if not we would be flying on the same flight again after it's been repaired...(yes another dumb thing) quoted from the lady " WE would not want to sit on that sick aircraft....if i die on other flights so be it but at least i feel safe when i board the plane...and not onto an aircraft that i knew had problems already....." good....succinct to the point...but at the pt of time...the 3of us were still pondering the options we have....we never encountered such a delay....less a delay that would be a day later.....and to our angst, the Station Manager said that we would be able to fly only today at 3pm...which to our horror was disgusting....
Anyway....we decided we should go to the hotel they offer and then think abt our options. Stayed at Sheraton Towers Hotel(near newton) and in the morning called every other person we had to call.....FINNAIR's lines are worse than that of BORDERS............at least Borders u can get thru......this one....forget it.....i think everyone's been flooding their lines......dumb shit......and finally at 10am after our breakfast buffet we managed to contact them to transfer us to another flight on TG(thai Inter,....my preferred airline of cos) and flying at 3.45pm. Called Lyn, my agent to ask abt hotels and stuffs lidat and she said she would settle it no prob....
Called back to Borders to look for Joyce...she wasnt around yet apparently...so decided to call Service manager...and Noraini was the manager....told her my problem and she was cool with it...asking me to just produce documentation etc...and she would help me inform the pple....thanks alot kak....couldnt imagine if it was the other managers though...but yar....she said i could extend my work by one day....so i could extend my stay there one day too...quite happy....when everything went about smoothly......hmm so much had to happen.....on our virgin trip abroad ourselves.......but hey....its an experience...at least i've encountered such stuffs......i'll noe wat to do next time....although....i wont want a next time.... =)Air Turbulence at 2:21 PM
