0Ver the "MounTain"...literally...Canot make it..

if Jason Hahn(if u read 8days u'll noe he's the food critic that writes the Last Person column n stays with 2quite dumb roommates...) went to this Altivo Bar to review the food...i bet he'll jump..the service was bad...but i credited it to their lack of staff...but well...how do u qualify as a chic tourist attraction restaurant which deserves payment of more than $20 per main dish when u :

1) Have 8small Round Tables for 16pple..lined up in one row..well i didnt come from the Medieval times where really long tables are needed for pple to eat...i dun hear that well...

2) Give 3-4 menus for a table of 16.

3) Take 15-20mins to get a glass of water for each of the 16 pple.

4) Have another Waiter whom we asked after waiting the first 15mins to
get us water only for him to come back 15mins later with water when we already have one on our table from the previous request.

5) Refill water only when asked,or decided that enough cups on the tables were empty.

6) Have Fish n Chips that taste as good only as the ones i get near my place for $4.50,and i get even bigger portions of Fish at the ones near my place.

7) Serve Fries that are Cold,not really cold,but jus dun taste like they came straight from the kitchen. Prob fries were left on the plate first and then you rem you had to serve water before coming back again to fry the fish and then serve it

8) Do not have salt/pepper shakers on the tables when you serve western food and not even chilli/ketchup sauce are provided.

9) Take 15-20mins to get ketchup and chilli sauce for my fren and in one small saucer enough for i guess a few fries.

10) Have Ketchup sauce that taste like you mixed it with the water from the koi pond behind our table.

11) Take almost as long as the time i took to finish my meal to get me ketchup and chilli when i requested for one of each. yes i almost finished the meal say a few fries left before he came with 2bowls of sauce,ain't that kinda late?and i requested twice..in all...and yar..you guessed i didnt have enough to eat from ur small portion and provided me the sauces to drink...would have preferred that size in the begining and the small one later on when i finishing..dumb..

12) Heard my request for salt TOGETHER with the ketchup and chilli and yet when i was about to finish my meal,received only the ketchup and chilli.

Wanted to complain...but well..andy told me it was desmond's bday and so forget it...thats why i didnt...otherwise...they should close down for good....how do they reason they charge $24 per main dish?excluding other charges...if they're understaffed then i think they should be undercustomised...don't cause us to lose face with a hype of a supposedly tourist attraction's restaurant n supposedly live up to your "high" status...prob as high as the hill is...but u can't even match up to that standards...luckily their live performance(singing) was good..otherwise this restaurant should just close down...and to think the dress code there is SMART CASUAL... prob should be the thinking code rite? Think Smart be Casual abt this place cos it sucks and kopi tiam service is even better....(well i get my drink within 5mins everytime...and they dun even have service charge....)well...so here's the good news... they're still open and u can try how OVer the Mountain they are....over hyped..and cannot make the standards....jus like Paris Hilton...nice name and looks good on the outside...but jus plain Blonde and empty inside...
