rainy day...luckily no monday blues....
well..woke up today to a rainy day..luckily when i left the house the rain subsided...which was a big relief...i dun have the habit of taking an umbrella..hehe...yar..lazy...and it's quite bothersome...well...so off i went to work...think i missed 65 today...think it came earlier...so i took a bus to eunos instead and then took the train.Reached quite early today..first time i reached work so early...7.30am..Shift briefing starting at 8am til 8.30am..haha..yea...today's briefing done by meilian (my shift manager) and she was rather long...haha..talk abt monday blues...and havin to listen to hear her speak so long..but she meant well lar...jus wanted to share with us more info on books such tat we wont be at a loss when customers come knocking at us..or esp those demanding customers who just think we have ALL the BOOKS IN THE WORLD...After shift briefing, i had kids recovery to do til 11am. Recovery means to shelve back all the books tat are lying around or in the wrong sections.And i tell u...kids recovery is the WORST after the wkends...argh...anyway the store is always horrible after the wkends...not to forget we had our 20%off books over the wkend..so it was...wow...Wartorn Zone...or u can really call it the BORDERS...during a war...
Did Info til 12pm after that had lunch then had Reg. Kinda tiring but it was quite fun...i like reg...ahha..and wow..i must say Borders customers are rich...they buy $100+ worth of books without batting an eyelid...there's this dunno sec sch boy that got some dunno wat books which i think is 4 Marvel books and it was like $137...my goodness...kids nowadays get money so easily eh? and they can like spend it on these kinda books..?that is i think almost 2days or so of my work time to get tat amount man...my my...
But yeah..who am i to compare...Aeron's the poor piscean everytime haha.... =) good day...btw...can it rain and be cool ?instead of being so hot and humid even though it rained?
